Not all veneers are made the same

Veneers can be produced in two ways: hand-layered by a skilled ceramist, or digitally milled from a single block of material. Milling is fast and consistent. Hand-layering is slower, and considerably more skilled, but it allows subtle variations in colour, translucency and character to be built into each veneer individually, the same nuance that makes a natural tooth look alive rather than uniform.

We invest in hand-layered ceramic work as standard, and in the master ceramists skilled enough to do it well, because it's this attention to detail that makes the difference between veneers that look like veneers, and veneers that simply look like your teeth.

Because veneers change the shape and length of your teeth, they can also affect the way you speak, something we take seriously, having treated professional singers whose voices depend on getting this exactly right. Every set we design is built around your face, your features and the way your mouth works, never a template.

Veneers can transform the appearance of discoloured, worn, chipped, uneven or slightly misaligned teeth, creating a stronger, brighter and more refined smile. Depending on the case, veneers may require minimal preparation, standard preparation or, in some instances, no preparation at all. Every veneer treatment begins with a consultation to assess suitability and determine the most appropriate approach for you.

Types of veneer we offer

• Ceramic porcelain: Milled or pressed for a strong, consistent result with excellent translucency and a natural-looking finish.

• E.max: A premium ceramic known for strength, clarity and a very natural finish.

• Zirconia: Exceptionally strong and suited to cases requiring additional durability.

• Composite veneers: A cost-effective, conservative option that can be completed in a shorter timeframe.

• Feldspathic porcelain: The most translucent and lifelike veneer material available, hand-layered by our ceramist to recreate the subtle depth of natural enamel. Often the thinnest option, making it especially well suited to minimal or no-preparation cases.

Preparation options

• No preparation: Used when the tooth already has an ideal shape and position.

• Minimal preparation: A very small amount of enamel is smoothed to allow a perfect fit and alignment.

• Standard preparation: Used when more significant reshaping is needed for the best functional and aesthetic outcome.
