Dental Implants

Dental implants are a long-term, highly reliable solution for replacing missing teeth. Each implant is placed into the jawbone, where it fuses naturally with the bone through a process called osseointegration. This creates a strong, stable foundation capable of supporting a single crown, multiple teeth or a full-arch restoration.

Implants restore both appearance and function. They also help preserve bone structure, maintain facial shape and improve the stability and comfort of your bite. With proper care they can last for many years and are designed to look, feel and function like natural teeth.

Treatment typically includes a thorough consultation, digital imaging or CT scanning for precise planning, implant placement and a healing period before the final restoration is fitted. Not everyone is an immediate candidate, but options such as bone grafting are available where additional support is needed.

Once placed, implants require daily cleaning and routine check-ups to protect their long-term health. Maintenance needs vary from patient to patient, some benefit from more frequent hygiene visits, every four months rather than the usual six, to keep the tissue around the implant healthy. We'll agree the right schedule for you as part of your treatment plan, so you always know what ongoing care to expect.
